As pet parents ourselves to Apollo the Golden Retriever and Molly the Poodle, we created Modern Pooch to meet a need we saw in our hometown of South EL Monte. We strongly believe that through the services we provide we can educate pet parents on animal care and thus increase the quality of life for animals living in our community.

Our vision is to revolutionize the dog grooming sector through the utilization of the latest grooming techniques and by the quality of care we provide to our fur clients . We hold our salon to a high standard as we practice grooming safety guidelines in alignment with the American Kennel Club (AKC). All of our groomers are certified having undergone intensive schooling, training, and continued development.
